Note:
I've noticed that the news reporters never ask anyone to pray about various things, so I've decided to start a new section here. When the Spirit moves me to ask for prayer regarding something, I'll post it here. Instead of always making specific prayer requests, if the "right and wrong" or the outcome of a situation is unkown (take the Michael Jackson story, for instance), then I will just make mention of the headline and leave it to God to know who is telling the truth and who isn't, or what the outcome should be. I will also be "non-partisen" when it comes to athletics (as I'm not really into sports anyway). So, please don't think I'm taking sides when I post a headline regarding some sports figure/team that may be having trouble (See the headline "Bears' Lineman Tank Johnson Arrested" as an example. I don't even know if I like the Bears or not, since I'm not into sports.)
This is unchartered territory for me, so forgive me if I don't do this right. Generally, I just think that perhaps the world would be better for it if we prayed for things we hear about, even if we are not directly involved in them.
