The Adventist/Christian/Religion World

It can be easy to hear about some story about things going on in Adventism, or in general Christianity, or even in other non-Christian religions, that touches the heart, for a moment, and then forget about it after awhile. Those affected by some event continue to live with either the positive or negative effects that it has had on their lives. I think we should continue to uplift our own people in prayer, particularly when negative things have happened that it can be easy for us to forget about. So, I'm starting a list of these people/events here as a reminder for us to all pray for them, as the Spirit leads.

Adventist Colleges and Events

* Southern University, as they repair the damage to Thatcher Hall and upgrade their policies and procedures.
~ The family, former fiancee, and friends of Kelly Weimer, as they go through the grieving process, and reorient themselves as they learn to live life without her presence.

Adventist Conferences and Unions

* I seem to recall that not too long ago, there was a plane crash that killed several Southern Union conference workers. I don't remember all the details, but please pray for their families as well.

Adventist Misc.

Adventist Singles Cafe (my web site) is in transition, and is nearly complete. Please pray that all will go well, and that God will continue to guide the process of the completion of this site. Please also pray that God will use this site to benefit it's members for His glory. There are also other Adventist singles sites on the web, so please pray that God will continue to guide and bless their owners and customers as well.
